In the early days, before Razorlight were called Razorlight, Johnny Borrell fronted a band that played at the 333 Club in London, where they supported The Von Bondies.  The Von Bondies were really good that night, and no-one really knew what would become of Johnny.  But look what happened, The VBs faded into obscurity and Razorlight went on to play at Lady Diana's birthday party.  Or something.

Johnny Borrell once went out with Kirsten Dunst.  She's a pretty actress from The America.  Lots of indie boys fancy Kirsten.  There was even a song written about her by a band called Brinkman, it was a pretty good song.  I think she dumped him for playing at Lady Di's birthday party, although I can't be sure.

Johnny Borrell is a posh boy who sings in popular beat combo "Razorlight".  The name is made up of two individual words, one is "Razor" and the other is "Light", together, they form "Razorlight".  It's a name that conjures up images of danger, a cutting edge, a beacon, something to look up to, it also has a vague drug reference, it's a really wicked name.

THE JOHNNY AND HARRY POTTER RUMOUR - NEW IN! - 31st March 2008

It's been rumoured that Johnny is been romantically linked with Harry Potter, we can't confirm or deny this and it would be unproffesional of us to speculate.  We like Harry Potter and we like his magical skills, and if there were any truth in it, everyone at JohnnyBorrell.com gives them both our love and wishes.

JOHNNY BORRELL TO GO SOLO?
There was a rumour, printed in the Guardian.co.uk on 15th October 2007 that Sir Johathon of Borrell "is thinking of leaving his band behind" and going solo.A source told the author ""He's already in talks with other musicians about his solo career and the rest of the band are preparing for a change."  The dastardly Guardian summises that this is one ego-trip too far for Captain Borrell.  We don't agree.  Do it Johnny!  Ditch those parasites and do it for England.  Do it for Lady Di, but most importantly, do it for yourself.

How solo can Johnny Borrell go?

Johnny is a really cool name, but it's just a stage name, Johnny was christened Jonathan Edward Borrell.  That means he could have called himself Teddy Borrell.  Or Johnny Ted.  If you read this and you call yourself Johnny Ted ... you have to credit us, that's the law.
